Maxine Dibert is the only candidate who will stand up for the working families of House District 31. Her opponent, Bart LeBon, is out of touch with the needs of everyday, hard working Fairbanksans. Maxine was born and raised in Fairbanks and was a teacher for over 22 years in the district. Her opponent is a retired banker who failed to invest in public schools; refuses to support competitive benefits for police, troopers, firefighters, and teachers; and opposes a woman’s freedom to make her own personal healthcare decisions.

Over the last two years Maxine has championed support for our schools, resource development projects that create good paying jobs, and policies that lower the cost of living. She builds bridges and puts party politics aside to do whatever it takes to help Fairbanks and its people.

Maxine’s Priorities:

  • Responsible resource development that grows our economy and results in high paying jobs;

  • Supporting students and families by adequately funding our schools;

  • Lowering the cost of living by reducing costs of energy, housing, and child care

  • Addressing our workforce development, recruitment, and retention challenges.
